Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan, Counselor Goto Fumio, visited APA Media Group.

During the meeting, APA Media Group Director General Vusala Mahirgizi provided detailed information about the organization’s operations, its affiliated news platforms, and areas of international cooperation.

She also spoke about APA’s position in Azerbaijan’s media landscape and the recent innovations implemented by the organization.

Vusala Mahirgizi wished Goto Fumio success on the occasion of the start of the diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan and expressed interest in future cooperation.

Goto Fumio, in turn, expressed his satisfaction with continuing his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan. He noted that he regularly follows the news published by APA Media Group across various fields and emphasized his belief that cooperation with Japanese media organizations would be mutually beneficial for both sides.

The meeting was also attended by Farid Mirza, Editor-in-Chief of APA News Agency, and Faig Mahmudov, Head of the International Relations Department of APA Media Group.

The parties exchanged views on future cooperation prospects and opportunities for exchange of experience in the media field.
