The Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) has announced the results of its Individual Journalism Competition, launched on May 13, 2026.
Four journalists representing APA Media Group are among the winners.
The successful recipients are Nadir Yalchin, Editor at APA News Agency; Firuza Vahid, journalist at the Agency's Domestic Policy Department; Sabina Avazgizi, Editor of Lent.az, an online publication operating under APA Media Group; and Ulucay Akif, Editor-in-Chief of Kulis, the Group's cultural news portal.
The Individual Journalism Competition recognizes journalists whose work demonstrates professionalism, public value, and high editorial standards.
The achievement of four APA Media Group journalists highlights the Group's continued commitment to quality journalism and its contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's modern media landscape.
